Preparing to dye

When I told Katie I'd dye some yarn for her, she said she likes long repeats, so I re-wound her skein last night to make a longer loop. It turned out to be a more complicated task than I had anticipated. I really need a swift, ha. I wound it around my ottoman, so it is now an ottoman-sized loop! Basically it is approximately 1 1/2 times as long now.


I barely got any actual knitting done yesterday. But today, Kelly, Christian, and Sheldon are going home, so I won't have that distraction anymore. Although Aaron is in town this week also and Alex and Sarah will be over on Saturday. Yeah, not a productive week for knitting, but oh well. I have no deadlines right now, which is nice!
