Secret project started

I was going to start sewing on Friday, but I never did. I was in a pretty impatient mood, and my cat kept sitting on everything I was trying to do, so I got frustrated and stopped before I even started. I guess I at least got reacquainted with the pattern, if nothing else. I think I am more interested in having a finished dress than actually sewing the dress - not the best time to start a new project, I guess.

Instead I started Maddy's turtle, which I finished and posted a picture of yesterday. And I have now started a secret project, which my impatient Katie can see on my Ravelry if she wants to :) I am making something for Enzo's birthday, and I am not sure if Gina reads this or not. I want it to be a surprise for her as well as Enzo, so I am not going to post anything about it until after he gets it...and his birthday is not until June, so it will be a long wait, I guess, ha.

I got in the books that I ordered! I love Amigurumi Knits and Adorable Knits for Tots. I'm not that thrilled with Sexy Little Knits. It's mostly bikinis. What the heck am I going to do with a knit bikini?
