I also got a skein of Cascade Dolce (very soft - alpaca, wool, and silk!) as a door prize. Who knows what I will ever use this for!
And Minion greatly appreciated the crinkly paper and ribbon used to tie up the "gift bag" mug. She's also pretty impressed with the mini-skein keychain. So all in all, a good day. I was amazed and impressed at the number of people at the grand opening. Wow!
I managed (no small feat) to get three of my four dyed skeins wound up. Here are Earth Day Baby, Thunderstorm, and no-name #1 in ball form.
