I have finally decided that I am going to sell my hand-dyed yarns. I have an Etsy shop sort-of set up. I have some undyed aran and fingering weight yarns on the way. I finally invested in a swift. As soon as the yarn gets here, I can start dyeing (not dying) and selling. My shop will be here, hopefully officially open for business in the next couple weeks! Exciting. (Let me know what you think of my banner!)
As far as knitting goes, I have been taking it somewhat easy. My finger still really gets sore sometimes. I don't know what's going on with that, but I'm trying not to overdo it. I did finish both the front and back of the torso of the zombie girl, and I made her skirt last night. The skirt will be attached directly to the body to make it look like a dress, but I had to knit the lower part of it separately just because of the way I wanted it to look. I had to write that part of the pattern myself. I also got to try out drop stitches for the first time. Ooh, ha. (You probably can't see them in the picture, but they came out pretty cool.) Legs, arms, and head coming soon. Oh, and I'm using the Joan Jett pattern for the girl. I used Joey Ramone for the boy. Guess what kind of ridiculous size difference there is going to be, haha. Oh well, baby Ella won't care, I don't think. Anyway, here are the pieces I have finished. Again, doesn't look like much yet, but she'll be awesome when finished.
I haven't done any more work on the Swinging Stripe, and I still have about 3.5 inches of the body of the Playground Shirt, and that's all I've got going on today.
