Girly purse done

I found this purse pattern on Knit Picks and thought it was pretty cute for Laura's 9-year-old niece, Anjewl. It was a really quick project (size 10.5 needles, yay), and it came out pretty good. I first tried embroidering the whole name onto the purse, but because of the large gauge, it was hard to make that much detail look good. So I settled on just an A, which isn't super terrific or anything, but it's good enough, I think. Anyway, it's all felted and ready to go!

I started the Socktopus yesterday. I finished the head part and now just have to get to work on the tentacles and the underneath part. I found the head in the bedroom this morning, so apparently Minion approves.
